Session 22-C

CDOs are more than meets the eye

← Back to Agenda

Data has the power to change the world! And it has. The retail, healthcare, education, and nearly every industry in the world has profoundly changed in the past 20 years thanks to the availability of so much data and the analytics that allow us to use it and change how we do business. When you think about what a CDO does, are you thinking about data governance, storage, tagging, analytics? Sure CDOs do those things, but they are also change agents, who have the power to bring about radical change in an organization. Join Beth Puchek, USCIS Chief Data Officer, who will talk about her journey to make data more available to USCIS decision-makers and enable the workforce to work smarter and not harder.
